L'attuale chiesa parrocchiale, all'esterno, mantiene ancora oggi una forte impronta romanica che caratterizza la facciata. L'interno è a tre navate e a croce latina ed è il frutto degli ampliamenti dei secoli XVI° e XVII°: si possono notare delle sobrie decorazioni di marmi e ori e molto pregevoli sono i dipinti, in ottimo stato di conservazione, grazie ai vari restauri che si sono succeduti nel tempo, fin dall'Ottocento.
