Se la scattavi in RAW la foto era più grezza(raw) e non era finita come questa in JPEG ma conteneva molte più informazioni e con gli strumenti di PS potevi evidenziare ancora più dettagli e renderla più brillante. Un solo esempio di quello che si può fare in RAW:_ quando ci sono forti contrasti di luce le parti chiare o le parti scure che non hanno dettaglio si possono scurire o schiarire lavorandole separatamente.
Per ottimizzare le foto con PS occorre un file RAW perché il file JPEG è molto impoverito dalle correzioni predisposte nella camera e non reggerebbe al meglio alle ulteriori correzioni manuali.
