Questa sala è diventata la sala d'angolo perché il palazzo nel 1906 è stato tagliato, per la larghezza d'una stanza su tutta la lunghezza, per allargare la via Corte d'Appello. La sala è un capolavoro di B.Alfieri. La volta è decorata con raffinati stucchi dorati che inquadrano affreschi simbolici, ancora dell'epoca Provana (1715 circa), dipinti da S.Bianchi: al centro la Sapienza ispirata dallo Spirito santo e, a lato, quattro allegorie (lo studio, la geometria, il disegno, la pittura). Le porte a specchi hanno delle magnifiche cornici in legno scolpito e dorato di stile rococò: le sovrapporte, della scuola di C.F. Beaumont mostrano episodi della storia romana. Le consolle, di stile rococò, sono capolavori di ebanisti piemontesi: da notare i supporti della consolle in forma di piede di capra.
