Questa è una specie abbastanza difficile da immortalare a causa della sua tendenza al volo prolungato. Fa brevissime soste sui fiori, giusto un attimo e poi riparte leggera nell'aria, bisogna essere veloci e fortunati come lo sono stato io per fotografarla in una posa decente. Foto scattata ai piedi del monte Velino nei pressi di Massa d'Albe (AQ).
