Lo spirito devozionale delle popolazioni del Piemonte del passato ( '6-'700 ) ha diffuso sulle porte e facciate di edifici privati e di culto, affreschi raffiguranti la Sacra Sindone. Entracque è un paese in cima alla Valle Gesso, frequentato sino all'ultima guerra, dai Savoia, che qui avevano allestito tenute e palazzine di caccia, una delle quali, quella di S.Anna di Valdieri, è oggi rinomato centro di cure termali. La casa privata di via Fucina, una stretta via in salita che si imbocca dalla piazza principale, è un casone di tre piani, con piccole finestre a grata che bucano la facciata dall'intonaco grezzo: un tipo edilizio e una tecnica costruttiva che parlano di montagna. L'affresco Sindonico, attribuito a un pittore locale del XVII secolo, doveva essere importante per la dimensione e la raffinata cornice dipinta. Si distinguono la Madonna e tre figure che reggono il telo, più corto del vero, con l'impronta del Cristo.
