con Nikon TC-14E II, 1/800 f/7.1, ISO 800, tripod. Yellowstone National Park, United States.

It Riki, fine ... stop, luckily that stopped -D: -D: -D
When you're in a vehicle, the photos are easier .... when between you and a beast like that there is only cavalletto..incominci thinking.
I was in Kamchatka, the bears are really very close, just a few meters, there is no comparison, but apart from the ranger with a gun leveled that you always close, there they eat tons of salmon and have your belly always full. Those of Yellowstone instead are a bit 'more nervosetti ....

But these photos are taken in Yellowstone without the shed? Without jeep?
I ask because there have never been (for now).

aria..aria....aria... MrGreen

aria..aria .... air ... -D

the vehicle sure you have it .... the park is huge ... but the photos do the walk out of the car, (with stand if you use long lenses)
A good and a bad thing is that the rangers arrive subito..e that I respect the minimum safety distance of 100 yards- ca 90 mt ....
