Questo spazio è così denominato per la presenza di numerosi ritratti di personaggi di Casa Savoia, facenti parte della ricca quadreria del castello. Questa raccolta iconografica fu allestita dal principe ereditario Umberto II a partire dagli anni Venti del ?900 e costituisce un "percorso dinastico" unico nel suo genere. Al di là del valore storico, i ritratti conservati a Racconigi costituiscono anche un interessante documento sull'evoluzione del costume attraverso i secoli.

Paolo ti rispondo così: sono pensionato e con un po' di fortuna al martedì, mercoledì e giovedì ci sono meno visitatori e le eventuali visite guidate sono più intense e talvolta visiti stanze non aperte al pubblico, poi c'è l'orario e lo devi scegliere possibilmente al pomeriggio, se poi hai una guida compiacente ti lascia fotografare dopo che il gruppo si è già spostato nella sala successiva!!! ;-)
