mitici mosaici bizantineggianti di Sicilia (accettalo come complimento maggiorato, perchè detto da un ravennate che di mosaici quindi se ne intende Cool

); nella mia personale graduatoria non so se io preferisca questi a quelli della cappella Palatina di Palermo, o ancora a quelli del duomo di Monreale; ottime riprese in tutta la serie.

A Ravenna in Sant'Apollinare nuovo il Cristo sul trono ha una iconografia molto simile al pantocratore di Cefalù e quindi anche Monreale (considerando solo il mezzo busto) diversi anni fa ho studiato qualcosa di quei mosaici.. a Cefalù purtroppo gli unici mosaici sono appunto li nell'abside mentre a Monreale hanno uno spazio maggiore, il Pantocratore di Cefalù mi sembra comunque il meglio riuscito.. ovviamente i mosaici più belli che ho visto fino ad ora sono nella cappella palatina da cui si esce con la Sindrome di Stendhal Eeeek!!!
