Watching distractedly might seem a leaf similar to others that we see in our area, instead reading your interesting caption and looking more closely, I realize that, and 'a pentafoglia arranged in a star and not a rammentarne similar between those who have seen so far.
And then 'a plant species of ancient prehistory? Wow!
Congratulations to her proposal in vision.

Thanks Claudio. Yes, more than the beauty of the picture I wanted to offer the shot to bring to the attention, those concerned, the existence of this rare plant, now present only in restricted areas of the Nebrodi. The shot was made during an excursion, targeted precisely to the discovery of the said plant. Next time, I'll try to Beccaria during the flowering period. The plan, as explained by the professor present that day, has an age between 35-40 million years Oligocene period then, if memory serves me correctly
... :-)
