The cue sent on June 09, 2015 (0:33) by Emiliano Marcon. 19 comments, 1414 views.

con Nikon TC-20E II, 1/500 f/8.0, ISO 400, hand held. Specie: Dendrocopos major

Luck helped you and you have a moment immortalized amazing and very tender. A round of applause for the time being is the grace that you have used in the family and respect as much as possible the privacy of the peaks. Hello Giulio

I like the moment caught documentary, the colors, the composition and maf. Next time (if there will be) raises the ISO to combat the potential camera shake (shutter speeds resulting in faster), so you do not have a ff limitations offered by other sensors ;-). (Imho). Hello, Lauro

Sorry for the delay ... :-) I try to respond to all:

@ Luca.cina: I thank you, I had a pretty fortune.

@ Justitia Terrena: Thank you Julius, as I wrote in the description, for me it was important that the new neighbors were able to nest and that was the priority. In recent days I have the opportunity to see some shots confidence granted by the subjects.

@ Alexposure: Alex is a moment I will remember with pleasure for a long time and I am also very pleased that my 6 year old daughter was able to witness this spectacle out of the front door.

@ Juliet Cazzaro: Thanks to you too :-) Nature is beautiful and I have been really lucky to have a front row seat for this show bighim.

@ ElleEmme: Thanks for your comment Lauro. I can not help but agree with you :-), enough to venture a little more with the Iso to have a faster shutter speed, perhaps even necessary for the rapid movements of the subjects. I recently the D800 and the first tests than the d700 I was not exactly thrilled with the results at high ISO, but it's definitely something I need to look into. A greeting.

@ Lyuke: Thanks for the compliments Luca ;-)

@ Gaetano De Rosa: Thank you too :-)

@ Erica Chestnut: Thank you Erica ;-)

@ Chiaranda Giorgio: Giorgio Thanks for the compliments.

@ Spanu Luigi: Thanks Luigi, The Nature gives us davvero of the special moments that deserve to be seen by many.

@ Jonnyiomini38: Hello, thanks to you ;-)

Very lucky to have a couple of peaks nesting in your garden, although I imagine very grande.wow! Wow! Wow! Wow!
It must have been a great happiness and joy to see them at work.
For the image posted I can tell you that the time you have taken is very nice and tender, you could work quietly in Manual, time (1/2000) and the diaphragm (F.10), and then set the ISO automatically.
Your D800 holds up very well the high ISO.
Congratulations
Best wishes and good run now behind the little guys, if you have patience and know how to approach them very calmly as you will get the meal Camole the hands !!!!! ;-) ;-) ;-)

For technical gladly accept your advice. I repeat the 800 recently and a few shots taken I was not thrilled at high ISO, I have yet to understand it pretty well, so I did not want to get up too.

I think I will settle for seeing them hope again for a bit and maybe try to do some shooting. It must also be nice to be able to do what you say but I feel I have to leave them in peace. They have already given so much. ;-)

Thanks and regards.

@ Simon: Actually a nice convenience. Accustomed to awake before dawn to the exits macro in this case I went really luxury :-)
Thanks Simone. A greeting.

Also this beautiful.

I like the colors, the framing and blurry on the left side. The focus is on the players at the top.
A greeting

Rossella
