non ho ben chiaro in questo genere di foto come si faccia a illuminare il primo piano in piena notte...

No, in realtà la fornace da quel lato è illuminata perchè a poca distanza c'è la luce della frazione balneare di Sampieri.
In altri casi invece si sfrutta il "light painting" cioè si illumina il soggetto a mano con una torcia
