Altro leone facente parte di un terzo gruppo composto da 8 esemplari. Lo stesso gruppo già postare nella galleria safari notturno. Questo gruppo è rimasto all'ombra dell'albero per tutto il giorno. L'unica cosa che gli svegliava erano alcuni animali a distanza ravvicinata. In particolare due impala maschi, impegnati in lotte territoriali, si sono spinti a meno di 30 mt dal branco e circa a 15/20 da un leone che era nascosto nel l'erba alta. Gli impala accortisi del pericolo sono fuggiti. Anche un giovane elefante con solo due adulti a proteggerlo ha più volte attirato il branco. Forse a causa dell'ora, del sole ormai alto e del caldo hanno desistito. Solo dopo il tramonto hanno tentato una vera e propria caccia ad un branco di zebre. Visto ma non fotografato caus distanza e mancanza di luce.
