Gufo comune - Monti Sibillini - sul percorso che dalle piane di Castelluccio porta verso Forca Viola, m. 1939, in un piccolo boschetto mi passa silenzioso, ad un metro dalla mia spalla, questo stupendo gufo, scomparendo veloce tra la chioma degli alberi. Ho impiegato una ventina di minuti buoni prima di riuscire a scorgere il suo posatoio, ben nascosto e mimetizzato. Per tutto il tempo è rimasto fermo senza mai staccarmi gli occhi di dosso!
