.
Sorriso
ciao e buona vita, Lauro

With the passage of the articulated and well as valuable comments Moth ;-).
The section is the correct one being the rose cut off and taken up in the indoor environment.
The still life is by definition photography of inanimate objects.
The original meaning is "still life"
.
Therefore a still life is no more than the recovery of one or more objects, no matter what size that can be of common use.
And 'photographic art that requires a lot of technique and patience playing with lights and shadows to take the objects or to certain man-made structures look different each time. It can be freezing of a drop bouncing in a liquid, a beer, wild game, fruit, cutlery, cut flowers ... in short, an element of use also common but that is enhanced thanks to our contribution. It takes advantage of the natural light or artificial light with outdoor mini-set shooting indooor.
The tone of the background backlit was deliberately sought in the pre-snap (I did not want the classical homogeneous white light), ditto the shape of the petals when I selected this specimen and the choice of lighting side and front to emphasize the three-dimensional feeling and vitality the drops. The fade is therefore partly natural (pdc very restricted due to the close-up) and strained (use rear-lights + side lights etc ..) :-)
hello and good life, Lauro
