, 1/8000 f/4.5, ISO 500, hand held.

Beautiful !!! wow!
Wanting to do just the pain in the ass, I would have closed slightly more aperture, so as to have all the legs of the bee in focus, but it pales ... congratulations again, it is wonderful!

Thanks critics
They started from the choice of freeze the moment, so I had chosen as shutter speed 1/8000 (the maximum, and despite that the wings are still moves), so more shut the diaphragm more enhanced the ISO and therefore noise. It is true though that could still raise the ISO before having visible noise, but it's done anyway :-) I still want to try it again next year

Fantastic time "nature of the work" .In addition to bee a note on the choice of the flower, in my opinion, one of the magnificent ..
Congratulations :-)

With compliments
The flower I chose this because the picture becomes as a landing pad for the bee, as it opens up to a great extent and in the middle (with quite a detachment of color: white - yellow) is the meta.
In fact, when you do this kind of picture, you realize how they behave bees and in this case it is a lot of fun. The flower is funnel-shaped and bees literally throw themselves inside :-)

this one has all its scenic and emotional completeness.
even if it belongs to a classical composition as knows her.
there is static and the colors are delicate.
cutting: I deleted the part left until the 'corner of the two petals blurred this to better contextualize the pistil of the flower and the bee. the eye should not move in spaces devoid of interest.

if shooting data are these I would have opted to lower a little the asa (and for the benefit of even better diaphragm) ... with a 8000 stop a bullet, the bee flies a little slower: -D
hello Fabio

Thanks a lot of comment. It is a picture that is also playing as a challenge to myself (sometimes, to be perfect masochist, I like to give me goals hard to reach). Also because the higher the level the more you are satisfied with if you get a good result.
You why my choice of cutting: I had seen the picture as if it were the flower (a bit 'as a platform) and get the bee. The key element is the flower (center because for me you mean static, and made the flower is static) as a bee to 2/3 of the photo to the dynamic. And I will take it anyway consuderazione tests.
Shutter speeds I wanted to try to freeze the bee and this time the wings are still moved, though so I do not mind. For the aperture you're absolutely right.
Thanks for the points of reflection.
I shall try again next year with new compositions and technical choices;)
