Dopo una quiete durata circa tre mesi, il vulcano Etna si è risvegliato dal suo silenzio tra la notte del 11 e 12 Maggio 2015. Man mano che i giorni passavano l'eruzione si faceva sempre più violenta. Così, la notte tra il 14 ed il 15 insieme a mio cugino sono salito sul vulcano alla ricerca di un punto perfetto per riprendere l'eruzione. Avevamo intenzione di percorrere il sentiero della Schiena dell'asino ed arrivare alla Valle del Bove, ma successivamente abbiamo cambiato idea pensando che non ci avrebbe permesso di vedere la colata lavica. Così, abbiamo optato per seguire un percorso diverso per giungere al Monte Zoccolaro. Il percorso era abbastanza in pendenza ma una volta giunti a destinazione siamo riusciti ad ammirare una panorama stupendo.
