E' totalmente manuale e devi stare vicinissimo al soggetto che fotografi (pochissimi cm). Non è quindi indicata per soggetti che volano o per soggetti che si spaventano facilmente almeno che non andare quando sono ancora infreddoliti.
Io riesco a far qualcosa a mano libera col flash ma necessita di treppiede.
A ingrandimenti maggiori di 1x necessita praticamente sempre di un flash dedicato che costa anche più della lente stessa. Insomma, regala tantissime emozioni ma è una lente che non consiglierei come prima lente macro!
