Talvolta ci vuole un po' di fortuna. Non si tratta di essere bravi fotografi, io non sono un fotografo. Faccio fotografie. E' diverso. La macchina fotografica mi serve per raccontare quello che succende nella mia vita, e condividere le mie esperienze con coloro che non sono con me. Oppure a distanza di anni, rivedere e raccontare dove sono stato. Mia moglie ha avuto il colpo d'occhio questa volta e mi ha chiamato mentre io ero da un'altra parte. Eravamo insieme alla sorella e suo marito in un remoto tempio del nord della Thailandia. Uno di quelli che se non conosci gente del luogo non ci arriveresti mai. Un posto sperduto, in mezzo alla foresta pluviale e su una montagna. Non una cosa da mozzafiato, ma un qualcosa che ti da il senso del Buddismo, serenita', pace, e rapporto con la natura.
