We have to think that this also happens in the western world with other animals, and the difference 'only that which is done away from our occhi.Ho wanted to document the carnage hoping one day to finish.

I agree entirely with what was said by Roby.

I must say that ...
At our latitudes is close to normal eating rabbit (all nice nice and tender) ... elsewhere is different.
And without going very far, it's been a long time since our ancestors, Ticino and Italian, on Sunday you were the good polenta with ragu cat: P
It's just that we're used to seeing them as pets, companions in life, friends games ... and not as a meat butcher's counter.

Mah .. killings are not violent? Or is the environment to make a difference.

In a butcher shop in our latitudes animals are killed in the same way ... hygienic conditions and pulizio make everything more ... "Acceptable".

What would watch is if the animal is subjected to rapid or slow death ... perhaps that is what makes the difference.

20 years ago we pulled the neck to the chickens and sheep and pigs with a sgozzavano coltellone ... we had no other means.
Today, however, the chickens are hung on a ribbon and rotating blades deception work. For most large animals, there are other means.

Immagini veramente... crude MrGreen

However, I also agree that the service is well done and the pictures particularly well kept.

Gran bel servizio, sicuramente toccante...

Really good service, definitely touching ...
Humans, however, eat the meat and then the animals can eat them alive, and I'll put myself that I also like a nice steak on the plate.
The difference is no doubt in how they are treated in life, and here unfortunately the work of people like Vagabondaok is still long.
Of course I would not, however, many differences between people, everyone eats what is traditionally used to eat and with regard to the insensitivity would say that we in the West we are certainly better off the Chinese. Ever seen an intensive rearing of poultry in Europe? Or a blackbird finished in a tie wire?
Fortunately, things are slowly changing, thanks to the sensitivity and documentation of many nature photographers.

Complimenti
