Nice catch, I see hard in nature a couple of eagle owls so immortalized with a 300mm, usually nesting in cavities or crevices on cliffs like the golden eagle, but you never know

However, for Steff and Luca, ;-) should be Owls. There are also in the forests on the mountains of the Apennines, and sometimes even in urban areas.

senza polemica
Stefano

Antonella, not to bother but photos of animals in captivity should be indicated as such.
these are not at all common owls .... this is a very rare species (perhaps 500/600 specimens in Italy) and difficult to see in natura.tutto is possible but not easy too ..... and not just x This must be said.
without controversy
Stefano

No controversy, at least not on my part. I also thought to have already written that were photographed in the park. I do not want mica tell stories! What kind would then?

owls are former correctness "photos in a controlled environment" you had to write it on the photo caption.
also in respect of who to photograph a wild owl would so many sleepless nights ...
however I do certainly alert, no tragedy. ;-)
