Prospetta su Piazza Carlo Alberto con la facciata eclettica, opera di Giuseppe Bollati (1864-1971) su disegni di Gaetano Ferri, ornata di statue di Vincenzo Giani e Silvestro Simonetta. Essa conclude la nuova ala aggiunta per ospitare l'aula nuova del Parlamento Italiano, che doveva sostituire quella del Parlamento Subalpino allestita nel salone centrale del palazzo e che fu mai utilizzata a questo scopo causa lo spostamento della capitale da Torino. Da qui si accede al Museo Nazionale del Risorgimento Italiano.
