Solargrafia sent on May 01, 2015 (20:26) by Daniele Fra. 17 comments, 2345 views. [retina]

Thanks Alessio, Mao and Coconut!
This type of photo is the first photographic experiments of half 800 where the first boxes with pinhole and photographic paper were placed and allowed to exhibit for a whole year.
This picture represents the origins of what we can do now!

Truly worthy of applause for the originality and uniqueness of the art.
The result itself is very special

Congratulations Daniel, I agree with Max57.
In theory, from December to June, if every day were always clear there should be so many strips as there are days of sun exposure, like the rings of a tree. Or not?
Hello, Luigi

Ps Where did you find sheets photographic film?

Thanks Zeppo, Lukygm, Jonatan, Danyswimmer, Charles and Catherine! :-)
Max you're right, white is the snow being brighter grass with the sun reflecting the most light impressing the film.
Luigi, in theory, from December 21 to June 21, or vice versa would be the best times to do this kind of picture without the stingy overlapping of contrails solar. Also in theory, if I had never in the past few months I show a cloud in the sky I could see a trail a day. Note that some trails are interrupted halfway through the day because in the morning it was sunny and in the afternoon it is covered.
I stopped the show before the six months provided because I realized that after a storm was coming water in the can, and in fact the paper was soaked but properly exposed :-)

This little box with the film I bought it in the center of Perugia in a workshop of artists, I regret having taken only because now I can not contact these guys and so I have the material to continue with other tests such as making exposure on top of a hill near the house of 6 months and a year.
Thank you all.
Daniele
