In my view despite having obtained a valid sharpness the subject has not been adequately developed. The strong light that hits it should have required of you compensation to alleviate that or filtered by a panel or the edge of the plain wax paper. The petals so clear they returned to detail now hidden from the light.
A quick test you can check the opening in PS shadows / lights, set to zero the two sliders in the shadows for quantities and tonal range, and then the lights bring to 10 the cursor factor. At this point with the button preview you can see the difference.
A clonatina also to leaf in the bottom left.

Ciao, Alberto.

Thanks Pigi47 for meticulous analysis, but a few more details from me is a must. I took this picture in a lightbox of my building with walls made of diffusive with the aim of achieving high-key image, therefore, very clear with muted tones. I used three light sources, one from the top and back to create a strong backlight that made translucent petals. The third front light was almost as fill light. Despite appearances I can assure you that the details in the flower (especially in the petals more clear) are there if you look at the original file 100% ... Of "burned" there is only white background and you can clearly see from PS the technical level that you described.
Having said that the picture may or may not like, but I just wanted to teach you about awareness and intent that were behind. The leaflet also have theskiing because I think completed the composition ...

Hello, Alberto.

Complimenti, Alberto!

Cari saluti,
Adolfo

Congratulations Alberto! An examination perfect for motivating your masterpiece and reiterate once again (if any were needed) that the technique is the language with which the artist expresses himself and not the art itself. For me, only compliments for this delicate masterpiece.

Best wishes,
Adolfo
