Archeologia Industriale - Struttura industriale mineraria abbandonata situata in località Argentiera, frazione di Sassari ubicata nel nord-ovest della Sardegna. Dista 43 km da Sassari e 34 da Alghero. Una volta in funzione per l'estrazione dell'argento è costituita in gran parte da strutture in legno. L'attività estrattiva è cessata definitivamente nel 1963. Attualmente tutti gli impianti e gran parte delle abitazioni costruite in un particolare stile con le pietre del luogo, sono in disuso ed in stato di abbandono. Il sito riveste importanza comunitaria ed attualmente è stato finanziato un imponente progetto di recupero e ristrutturazione. L'Argentiera fa parte del Parco geominerario storico ed ambientale della Sardegna. (Nella foto la struttura inquadrata é in particolare la "laveria" ossia l'opificio dove avveniva la lavorazione del minerale grezzo estratto) #ArcheologiaIndustriale
