Yes, I do not know why but not shown in the details Properties when shooting with the Nikon D50. Could you suggest how to do?
Thank you so much for your nice comments:-P

How strange!
For properties' you mean the "shooting information"?
The D50, and not 'machine but recently I read in specifications "to save images occurs in both NEF (RAW) + JPEG (low quality) ..., both in JPEG," ... in the package also PictureProject software.
I do not suggest a solution is easy also because 'use Canon Hardware and software (for editing more' elaborate Use with another photo editing software).
I do not know if you use the program in support of the SLR Nikon to view / edit photos, certainly your SLR, shooting data (Exif data) including data ISO, assume them certainly store, you have to check the settings visualization software in use or those in the car if you make it, as they should, the data Iso failing you should try thereensure the verification of software updates on the Nikon website (maybe Nikon View NX 2), as another alternative, try installing a photo editing software from other manufacturers to find on the web (there are many, including free / freeware).
Sorry Juliet can not help you more '(not' easy way 'on the spot), but I think it's something definitely sistemabile; I assume that the solution is in the case studies just now proposed (display settings / data storage shooting in the car, or visualization software / editing to update and replace with another "only" after trying it and verified that it works as you expect and make the expected information, if you do not convince at most then uninstall and remove from PC): "Greetings";-):-P.

Yes, I will show the message Properties ...
The machine has more than ten years ... I have found that images can be saved in RAW format, and here you see the ISO value, but then I find myself with duplication of all the shots, which obviously fill the memory card, and I never know on which I can edit images: fconfuso not even know there is
the program accompanying the SLR Nikon
: - ((well, they are a little inexperienced ...: - |)
I know I do before to buy me another camera body ...
You have been very kind and thorough in explaining, I will try to better understand ...
Thank you very kind of support that you give me, a warm greeting,
Juliet

The Raw format (raw format) and 'the file on which you can make the best interventions editing as you work suli original data shutter which have thus undergone significant processing interventions by the electronics and the processor inside the camera as is the case in which the Jpeg file, the resulting file by click, albeit seemingly perfect, 'already' been made the subject of prior processing before it is displayed on the display (part of the information, already 'optimized, are no longer' Jpeg file in the output), if you compare the "weight" in Megabytes of two identical pictures, but one made in Jpeg and the other in raw format, you'll see that their dimensions are very different, the Jpeg and 'much more' lightweight, and 'a kind of graphic format "compressed", but with a very good quality' final representation of the picture, the files it produces are more 'lightportable across different devices and platforms (PC, modern TVs, smartphones, etc.), while the raw format, and 'much more' powerful (and more 'heavy in terms of files and resources committed during editing) but allows interventions much more 'extended and deepened in post production / editing, difficult to replicate or obtainable working on a jpeg file.
In fact from a raw file, you can get endless variations of the same photo working on the same file, with the huge advantage of being able to restore the original photos from the same raw file in case of problems (better still work on a copy of the file, never know ...).
Before you think about an upgrade of the SLR (which you can evaluate when you feel), I think you could first try to evaluate to equip yourself with a basic photo editing program, (I'm no expert but I read that Google Picasa, for esempio, and 'a simple program which is spoken well and and' in Italian, or try to download and install it on your pc if Nikon and 'version of "Free", at the beginning there will be some discomfort' if you're not accustomed to use photo editing software programs, but I think it is an effort worth making also because 'can' help much to manage and optimize your shots even better.
I, too, as I think more 'or less, I did mess with photo editing software, now I do not teach anybody anything certain, but' a little defend myself (even with nails):-D.
Best wishes, Claudio
