molto bella e delicata.

ciao Matteo

very beautiful and delicate. The effect on the spread of crocus in general and the elimination of the green is the result of the blur, or is a selective desaturation?

hello Matthew

Take it only as an exchange of views.
Undoubtedly the use of the diaphragm makes it clear that your intention was to play to blur, then pdc and detail will not be visible as the use of a smaller aperture, however, the point at which there is the large maf this should normally normally be tangible. The details of the petals in this case because they can get lost in several places are overexposed, in fact, the law tern RGB values ??equal to 254/255. In this case it would be appropriate to compensate for a negative exposure in order to avoid that the strong light then give this result. The limit would have had to intervene with the help of a hand, a backpack or anything that would help to make shade to decrease the contrast caused by light.
The picture I see a little 'no contrast in color, the limit if you want to keep the part around the flowers cos & igravand; nebula can with masks, levels, and the use of a brush increase the contrast only on crocus thus giving more polish to the subject, it being understood that the detail of the petals do not recoveries propio because overexposed.

Proverò cmq a seguire i tuoi consigli. Grazie ancora!

Wow that detailed comment.
I unfortunately do not know how to use layer masks aime '. My intention was to bring out the shadow inside the crocus, as you could understand from the title, but actually it was tough and I did not get the precise effect I wanted. I got up I purposely lights otherwise petals would be less burnt ...
Cmq try to follow your advice. Thanks again!
