My work doesn't allow me to put enough time in photographing and I don't earn enough money, to make long trips as some other guys. This is the reason, I have to take my pictures also in zoos, wild parks and ofcourse free nature.
Ultimately, it is all about one thing, making a beautiful picture. Is my homble opinion.
Personally I do not care where or how it was made, as it is only with respect for nature and or animals.
Although, I have deep respect for those, who sometimes spend weeks, living in a hide and in hard conditions, for one encounter for a particular species in the setting they want.

You speaks of respect, but you give me the feeling of disrespect, by your words about my picture. So to speak, is it now an ugly picture or less beautiful??
So for you it is more important how the picture is made than how the picture looks like.
By the way, this specific picture is placed in the magazine "National Geographic". They know where it is taken and the picture speaks for itself.
I am not interested in your likes if that's the question in this cases. |

A me la tua immagine piace, è molto bella, ho solo detto che dovevi per correttezza dichiarare (e dovevi farlo anche e soprattutto per quella premiata con l'EP) che era stata fatta in cattività e non in natura. Non vado oltre perche' non amo fare polemiche.

Io sono d' accordo con Marco e Marco (), le foto fatte in natura sono un altra cosa, per me vale la dizione inglese di Wildlife photogaphy che dice tutto perché per me me la fotografia naturalistica non è solo estetica

Scusa Piergiovanni ma non condivido questa frase: se è vero che si può arrivare ovunque , non è vero che le difficoltà di fare uno scatto siano paragonabili e comunque quello che conta sono le condizioni in cui vive l' animale che se non è libero è costretto in un recinto.... Prendiamo il caso classico dei lupi del Bayerischer: nonostante ci sia chi pensa in perfetta buona fede che vivano in un recinto grande, la realtà è che un branco di lupi liberi normalmente ha un territorio che per pattugliarlo ci vogliono settimane......
