Finalmente dopo due anni torno di nuovo in questo luogo che amo tanto. Questa volta, oltre che godere della natura che mi circonda, ho in mento un obiettivo: fotografare la nord del Gran Paradiso con la via Lattea sullo sfondo. È un'immagine che ho in mente da molto tempo e che non so neanche se riuscirò a fare. La giornata è limpida ed è previsto sereno anche questa sera. Sono fiducioso e felice di avere questa opportunità. Cerco la posizione migliore con la luce del giorno, per essere pronto quando il sole tramonterà. Ammirando lo spettacolo a cui sto assistendo, cioè il Gran Paradiso "infiammarsi", mentre cala il sole all'orizzonte, quasi non mi accorgo che è giunto il momento di mettersi all'opera. La via Lattea si vede ad occhio nudo, mentre il Granpa si intravede appena. Eseguo qualche scatto di prova per verificare le impostazioni, ma soprattutto per perfezionare l'inquadratura. Noto che delle nuvole basse provenienti da sud stanno coprendo parzialmente la parte più scenografica della via Lattea. Devo sbrigarmi! Alla fine porto a casa questa immagine, ma soprattutto porto a casa la felicità di aver avuto l'opportunità di assistere a questo spettacolo straordinario. (Unione di tre scatti verticali)
