La necropoli di Corongiu è costituita da classiche domus de janas scavate nella pietra calcarea , tra queste c'è una tomba a pozzo verticale, anticella, e cella con decorazioni a rilievo sopra e ai lati dell'ingresso; il disegno presenta una parte verticale sopra la quale ci sono due spirali laterali: si ipotizza possa rappresentare la " dea degli occhi " un' aspetto della dea madre neolitica che proteggeva i defunti.
