Colonna degli Anelli (o "delle Anella") è il monumento principale di Bertinoro. È una colonna di sasso bianco e testimonia l'indole ospitale dei cittadini bertinoresi. Si narra infatti che la Colonna fu fatta costruire da Guido del Duca e Arrigo Mainardi nel 1497 e dalle famiglie nobili del paese per porre fine alle dispute su chi dovesse ospitare un forestiero ogni qualvolta uno di essi posasse piede in città. La colonna fu dotata di 12 anelli che servivano per legare le briglie dei cavalli. Ad ogni anello corrispondeva il nome di una famiglia. A seconda di quella che veniva scelta per legare il cavallo dall'ignaro viandante, la famiglia corrispondente aveva l'onore di ospitare il forestiero.
