the storm rages! sent on April 03, 2012 (2:36) by Memy. 32 comments, 3291 views.

, NgoroNgoro, Tanzania. Specie: Acinonyx jubatus

Hello Oly
probably ... but I must also say that I like the roughness of 'image that I have in fact exacerbated ..
The 'only thing is that I see on the site less gloomy than the' I worked with PS.
It is not the usual image "glossy" and the thing I really like from the point of view of aesthetics and are curious to see it printed in the right way.
This year, more than other times, I felt the desire to do different things.

Of course, "every Snout is nice to Mom soy" ..... and it is said that like others.
E 'for this reason that some photos of the comments are even more interesting positive or negative ...

Hello Memy, the picture quality is not exciting, but given the situation and the shooting scene, I'd say you did just fine to shoot and post it. The grain makes it more like a painting and giving it a nice look, however, good job ;-)
PS As for the video ... even though I sometimes think a photo I always greater satisfaction :-)

Your shots I appreciate them all for the documentary value they have. I also find it oriented photo-art.

Thanks Guido_88 and Zioigor

Also I much prefer the picture to the video so much so that I always picture ... However, in certain situations, the video can be more effective and also thinking of making a projection, some insirire cutscene in the right place is not bad.
If we analyze this photo from the mere technical point of view, even if many of the limitations are due to the environmental objective diffcoltà would definately by trashing but personally I only watch this cme and I said, overall I like more than my many photos much more successful technically ...
Lately more and more attracted to less canonical photos and a bit 'out of the ordinary, maybe more "artistic" (a word often overused ..) and this, to a certain effect "painting", I think that goes in that direction ...

It seems an impressionist painting. The grain I do not particularly like: it seems taken underwater, but the event has taken extraordinary documentary of the facciaccia closed car ;-)

Thanks Ranmairs,
the effect sott 'water is actually eralistico because just after the' beginning of the hail began to fall a river of water!
I added texture to go also to take advantage of a feature that was already there ....

I am convinced that they had documentary on Sunday, a real one would not be afraid to get wet and would never want to miss an opportunity so greedy!

AND 'extraordinary image could have come from the pen of a friend of mine illustrator more' than be a photo.
Lately I've been more and more attracted to less canonical photos and a bit 'different from the usual

And 'the wisdom that makes its way, good sign, but looking at your galleries I would say that you're already' possessed! I'm 'calling for me:-D
Congratulations! :-P
