Dopo il tramonto sulla piana del Grande deserto del Kutch abbiamo sorpreso questo sciacallo. Era proprio barren ground, neanche un filo d'erba. La zona, con i monsoni si allaga, e quando si prosciuga durante l'inverno secco il sale sale in superficie ed impedisce la crescita di vegetazione.
