Sono i fiori di un bellissimo albero Ceiba Speciosa (detto anche palo borracho -albero ubriaco - a causa del rigonfiamento del tronco), qui ce ne sono parecchi e che io sappia è di origine sud americana e non so se quello che hai visto tu è della stessa famiglia. I fiori sono spettacolari e fra poco cominceranno a spuntare visto che qui siamo ormai in primavera avanzata (così potrò andare a "caccia" di colibrì MrGreen
