Certo avrei potuto non inquadrare la sedia, ma ho preferito lasciarla, perchè su quella sedia poco prima che riprendessi, c'era seduto un vecchio che mi ha ricordato mio padre, quando un tempo insieme agli amici si riuniva per quattro chiacchere o per una partita a carte. Ora capisci perchè sono affezionato a quel posto.

Of course I could not frame the chair, but I preferred to leave it, because in that chair just before starting out afresh, there sat an old man who reminded me of my father, when a time with friends gathered for a chat or a game cards. Now you understand why they are fond of that place.
