The pension is not enough. sent on March 22, 2015 (12:41) by Gianluca Urpi. 22 comments, 1403 views. [retina]

A te, piccolo pescatore e grande uomo.

Beautiful photo that makes me feel different flavors.
These fishermen go out alone at night and fall in the morning, sometimes, from the port of Viareggio, I went with them to get me a fishing experience, which is very funny but forbidden as these boats do not have insurance coverage for passengers.
Having known many, I tell you that the pension is not enough, but the passion for the sea does not abandon them, would go out in the sea anyway.

Thanks Versilia
I too would like to spend a day with them to document their work. It attracts me very much fishing with lampara. I wonder if one day I can do it.

I have not succeeded. They are alone, have only the engine that says naphtha naphtha naphtha naphtha and a few packs of cigarettes to keep him company.
Those times that I came out, the fisherman made me hide in the hold and went out when we were three miles, the first time he told me that the line of radar marked three miles, I put at the helm and told me to keep me up to three miles from the coast dawn, he threw networks with divergent and went to sleep. At about two in the morning he got up to hauling the nets and I began to select the fish dividend in the various cases.

I thank you for the comment.
You're right, they have to work a life after a lifetime of work.
Their life and the sea.

I tried this summer. I asked the captain of a fishing boat when I embarked for one night. He said that we needed the permission of the captaincy and had to ask for extra insurance. In short, the end has not really done anything. But I'll try again this year.
Although it would be very useful to an SLR handsome high ISO. Thing that I lack.

The fisherman who brought me died in disgrace. Large fishing vessels unless you know you are not taking responsibility, you have to ask some catfish coming out solo and exit at your own risk.
In Italy things are quirky, there would be many people who would go out to fish and he would pay for it, we have sources of tourism that does not want to exploit.
If you can embark, no optical light, I advise a compact, slippery deck, water spills, severe competition, then you make yourself. No fast boats that ply the waves, when they have nets deployed with divergent pulling dancing than on tagada.

But I would like to go on one of those.
Small boats do not attract me for a report.
It attracts me the lampara for the type of fishing they do and how to imagine.
I hope to do someday.
Not the first time I make pictures boat. I brought the SLR raft and also in different sailboats. Small and large.
Of course, the risk that everything falls into the water there. But I'm willing to take that risk.

How much truth in this. Sadness for a sick society of leadership and the increasingly pronounced social inequalities. Snap it does reflect deeply together with your words. Bravo Gianluca my warmest congratulations. FGios
