hello, the base does not seem razor-sharp and the profile is not very accativante, but the yield of the sky is amazing!

Innanzitutto complimenti.

First of all congratulations.
To my mind, wanting to be just picky, some outlying areas of the sky are not perfectly focused.
But it is not due to your lack, how likely the type of lens used.
For the Milky Way using wide-angle lenses also more motivated and possibly sharp.
I do not know if this photo is the result of a single exposure, I find it rather difficult to get a similar result.
Then I do not know the Canon 5D Mark II, maybe miracles:-D

Ciao

The image is certainly beautiful but I have my doubts, seeing the shooting data, which you can see the Milky Way so with only 20 seconds of exposure and more here in Italia.Io at night we ride well on the Sibillini and I ever seen in this way, the Milky Way, a sembrarebbe sopraposizione immagini.Spero of mistakes and my guess is a very personal, I'd like to know more about this scatto.Ciao

I do not think is an overlap, would have chosen a more interesting foreground, the National Park of Abruzzo think it is quite possible

Come scatto singolo è stupefacente!

ciao

Chiara

As a single shot is amazing! Does not convince me, however, the post, you say that you have acted selectively, perhaps a bit 'too much, because the dark areas in the center of the Milky Way are black, while the sky background around it is much clearer. Also in the upper part of the Milky Way (near Swan) the central dark band should continue (the Swan in general is almost cut in two by the dark band), while here it ends abruptly with a patch that did not come back a lot. A good review of the post-production and one single shot comes out a Milky Way that the "mere mortals" owners of a modest 500D can cost hours of work! I'd be curious to take a look at the photos not processed (not raw, just a jpg) to get an idea of ??the performance of this camera picture like the sky and even the place, which seems really nice.

hello

Clear
