I for portraits prefer the more traditional vertical orientation in a part in some particular occasion in which opto for horizontal cutting. In this shot I would have avoided cutting head up and I would let more air in front of the subject rather than behind. You can re-balance the composition of operating a cut on the left side behind the subject by re-proportioning the almost square format of the shot to a more vertical format.

Correct focus on the eye in the first floor and I really like the blurred due to the opening of the large aperture to f1 / 4 also determines if already blurring already on the second eye raising strength to the eye. Perhaps from a technical standpoint purists of this technique would find an error. I do not bother.
I do not really like the sepia effect for portraits and perhapsgenerally .. I use it very little.
For the rest of the beautiful baby !! :-P

I'm not a technician so take my advice as an expression of personal taste than just amateur and enthusiast of photography which I also have. ;-)

Best wishes!
Peter
