, 1/640 f/5.6, ISO 100, hand held. Lago di Varese, Italy. Specie: Milvus migrans

Good catch, no crop means great opportunity 'recoveries and processing in PP ... ;-)

A meeting certainly exciting :-). I see very contrasted with the shadows chiusissime little detail (eye muddy) and a shutter unhappy. For the next outputs trained in applying changes to parameters of the pre-shot on the fly, imagine the same scene. .. could apply even if you were on the counterattack improving the shot itself. Try to be proactive and seeking the fluidity of action ;-). hello and good light, laurel

Thank you very much Lauro, for the parameters you are quite right I had to be a bit 'more calm and control the timing just raising the ISO
For the contrast and shadows you think might get something already in pp Or you could do something during shooting?
Thanks
Paul

Hello Paul, I think there is room for improvement in pp: the shadows are too closed. With higher ISO and playing with the wheel on the back to overexpose'd have a final result more manageable (IMHO). hello and good light, laurel

First of all congratulations for the timing.
From the technical point of view they said everything else in particular Lauro who is always generous with good advice and point of reference.
For the experience I gained with the kites, the kite is very difficult to photograph because of the color uniform. From my point of view, when he tries to take inquadri oblique. Has wings very long and when it retracts horizontally, the wings take all the photos so that the eye and the face in general are seen shortly.
