Caimani jacarè e capibara sono le prede principali del giaguaro. Il grosso felino è il predatore che più temono. I capibara sono erbivori mentre i caimani jacarè si nutrono principalmente di pesce e non costutuiscono una minaccia per i grossi roditori. Questa scena ripresa mi ha fatto pensare quindi ad una sorta di alleanza fra specie diverse dove ci sia guarda le spalle a vicenda, pronti a scattare al minimo segnale di pericolo. Pantanal, settembre 2014.
