Armatura da giostra italiana: Armoraro italiano, 1580 circa in acciaio. L'armatura bronzata da giostra proviene dall'acquisto della collezione bresciana dei Martinengo della Fabbrica, effettuato nel 1839. All'epoca doveva essere mancante di varie pezze, integrate poco dopo l'arrivo in Armeria dall'armaiolo-restauratore Giovanni Mussone, pagato nel 1843 per la "riparazione" di un'armatura "tutta tempestata di stelle intagliate, e damaschinate in oro", che proprio in virtù dell'inconfondibile decoro è possibile identificabile con questa. I documenti conservati presso l'Archivio Storico dell'Armeria permettono di individuare le parti rifatte in stile, tra cui gambiere, cosciali e varie pezze di spallacci, elmo e manopole. L'abile restauro ottocentesco è stato quindi determinante nel conferire l'aspetto attuale all'armatura, corredata da una spada con fornimento a gabbia non pertinente.
