Il becco a cesoia americano è un uccello appartenente alla famiglia dei Laridae, la stessa che comprende gabbiani e sterne. La particolarità di questo volatile è il suo modo di pescare, infatti, taglia l'acqua con il becco a gran velocità cercando di colpire e afferrare al volo i pesci in superficie. Riprenderlo è stato divertente ma non semplice per la velocità dei suoi spostamenti a pelo d'acqua che hanno messo a dura prova l'autofocus della mia macchina. Pantanal, agosto 2014.
