Suspended between dream and reality sent on March 05, 2015 (14:06) by Massimo Bonini. 21 comments, 1113 views.

, 1/125 f/11.0, ISO 100, hand held.

Ciao Giorgio

Looking at this shot I can almost hear the "sound of silence", when snow covers and deadens everything.
As I read this photo are alone, in peace, in the silence of what looks like a lawn (but the snow lies a lake), surrounded by silence and reassured by the presence of trees. In the distance, however, advances a thin layer of fog that hides inexorable gradually the edge of the forest. Soon lose every benchmark. From peace initial step to a slight sense of panic looming.
Bravo Massimo, I can see a picture that can tell so much.
Hello Giorgio

Sergio
Giorgio (gran bella interpretazione :-P)
Arvina

Grazie tante dell'apprezzamento, so che non è una foto colorata e d'impatto ma...a me diceva qualcosa.
ciao e buona giornata.
Massimo

Sergio
Giorgio (very good interpretation:-P)
Michele (yes, we had thought but the last have posted this format 16/9 and did not want to abuse it)
Arvina

Thanks a lot of appreciation, I know that is not a photo colorful and impact but ... I said something.
hello and good day.

ciao

I prenderi 2/3 of the picture starting from the top to the right so that the trees on the right side are two-thirds above the rest for me is more and adds nothing leaving the photo too distracting
albeit misty also would try to do a bit more white snow

ciao

Thanks Gian, for the cut would not be lost a lot of the right part of the trees for the "vision" from but had:-D are important, just to divide the fog mist no halfway photo; I try though to nose the only solution is to cut below.
White snow, in bn for now I can not do better: fconfuso:: - |

comunque è sempre opinione e gusto personale

ciao

intedevo cut left not right. two-thirds of the picture starting from the top right. I tried and I think improves, I left the large if your avesssi had a single tree in the background.

however it is always opinion and personal taste

You're right, I was well understood but poorly written, the correct phrase would be "you lose much of the left"

You have pruned a lot:-D:-D
I I've also put a lot of hand giving more clarity to the plants right to stand out even more than the difference in the mist, panoramic format to avoid losing too many larch trees (there are also here:-D;-), albeit minor)

ciao

Can I have my say?
Massimo is already the third picture in the series that you think we criticize too foreground.
Do not you wonder if perhaps I should think a little more in the frame during shooting?
Continue to crop in post believe me, it can be a good exercise, but it opens up your mind when you're on the spot with the stand on the floor, what should be the most magical moment when we photograph, not in front of the PC.
nothing controversy just a way to spronarti to pay more attention during shooting.

ciao

In fact I had anticipated that I will not convince me neither ... but I wanted to have also external opinions to broaden the range of views. ;-)

Hello Massimo, I also tell my: agree on cutting panoramic, reducing
bottom, I would leave everything else as well, the two cypress trees, which just be glimpsed on the left are, for me,
a quid more, sbiancherei snow in a bit to slightly increase the contrast with the sky.
It is still a beautiful shot.
Hello Claudio.
ps congratulations for being able to extrapolate the poetic vein of George.

Thanks Claudio and excuse the late response.
You say that the snow renderesti even whiter the changes I've made (dropbox above)?
to be able to extrapolate the poetic vein of George
I keep an eye on:-D:-D occasionally comes out with some wonderful messages, I'm glad I inspired in my photos.
hello Massimo

ps cypresses are actually fir (high lake of Ninfa because there may be cypress).

Cypresses !!!! sorry I was wrong, even if they are ignorant on the subject, I know, maybe I still think
my cypress trees destroyed by the last snowfall.
Hello Claudio.
ps I had not seen the latest version, for me it's perfect.

I still think my cypress trees destroyed by the last snowfall
I know that you're not the only one, actually was half disaster, I straightened buddleja a hand that had literally sdradicata wow! Wow! after a week lying on the ground covered with snow.
