16.03.12 22 Gru provenienti dal Nord Africa hanno passato la notte a S. gilla per riprendere il loro lungo viaggio per il Nord l'indomani mattina Ho avuto il piacere di osservare tutta la fase di atterraggio: Arrivate da sud con un vento sostenuto di scirocco, si sono portate a circa 100 m dal punto centrale dello stagno ed anno invertito la rotta per mettersi contro vento, poi hanno iniziato la discesa lentamente , chiudendo leggermente le ali ed abbassando le zampe sino a toccare terra e ad arrestare la loro corsa come de grossi Jumbo che atterrano in formazione , uno spettacolo indimenticabile
