Durante il nostro viaggio in India, la prima parte era dedicata al reportage. In una piccola strada di Jaipur, questo anziano (?) signore viveva in non più di 15 metri quadri. Il letto composto da un tappeto, un cuscino rosso, una coperta. I suoi oggetti personali: un paio di occhiali ed una tazza di latta. Lo sguardo perso, le gambe secche e rachitiche mentre il corpo nascosto da una giacca che aveva vissuto più del dovuto. Ho scattato decine di foto a quest'uomo, che con tutta la sua dignità non si è tirato indietro nel farsi fare qualche scatto, ma, anzi, ne sembrava alla fine felice. Ho deciso per una ripresa non proprio centrale perché volevo mettere in risalto la parete destra ancora un po' colorata di verde e che da importanza alla scena. Quando ce ne siamo andati, al vecchio si è avvicinata una mucca a cui l'uomo ha donato probabilmente quel poco che aveva da mangiare: una mela. Commenti e critiche gradite. Ale
