La composizione a mio parere sarebbe stata perfetta dando lo spazio maggiore a destra del soggetto, ma probabilmente non hai potuto scegliere.
Così mi dà proprio un senso di chiusura e taglio a destra dove è evidente che c'era il maggior movimento dell'onda.

Ho visto che hai quasi sempre scelto questa composizione nelle altre foto e quindi penso sia una scelta deliberata. Non sono d'accordo perchè praticamente si penalizza sempre e si taglia l'onda nel suo maggior movimento. In alcune poi c'è anche il soggetto in movimento verso il lato destro con minor respiro, cosa che accentua ancora di più la sensazione di qualcosa che manca. Questo però in base a regole di composizione di base. Poi... de gustibus.
Nella surf che è meravigliosa c'è lo stesso tipo di composizione però invertita di lato, ma in quel caso i colori magnifici mettono in secondo piano l'importanza visiva del movimento dell'onda e non ho alcuna sensazione di... mancanza di qualcosa.
Scusa, mi sono dilungato e poi sono impressioni personali. Come dicevo... de gustibus.
Le foto restano in ogni caso ottime.

In questo caso il surfer sta percorrendo l'onda da sinistra verso destra, quindi ho preferito scattare utilizzando il punto di messa a fuoco a destra del monitor, in modo tale da lasciare respiro verso la parte pulita dell'onda, penalizzando la schiuma che in questo caso non era nulla di che, mentre la parete di fronte al surfer era perfetta.
