A livello tecnico e di pp sei già più avanti di me edi tanti altri, ma certe tue foto non sono interessanti semplicemente a livello compositivo, in alcune non c'è proprio un soggetto interessante, ma veniamo a questa foto, chiaro che qui la location c'è, ma tu ti preoccupi delle ombre etc
Qui che non va e che non si capisce quale è il soggetto, la torre è un di più che non serve, distrae solamente dal canyon che è minimizzato con una inquadratura dispersiva, se invece per te la torre è importante allora la devi mettere in un terzo giusto non a bordo fotogramma.
Ti dico questo perché l'ho notato anche in altre tue foto.
Detto questo visto la tua età vai tranquillo che io ero peggio di te, adesso invece anche

Non pretendo di conoscere tutte le regole fotografiche ma prima di cimentarmi in questa passione ho letto le regole fondamentali sui libri e sui siti più o meno blasonati, infatti per quanto riguarda il link che mi hai mandato, lo vedo un po' come una "scopiazzata" de "l'occhio del fotografo" in quanto dice le stesse cose (secondo me ).
Premetto inoltre che è da poco che sto veramente attento alla composizione, prima scattavo "da turista", quindi al tempo dello scatto (l'anno scorso) non ho fatto particolarmente attenzione alla regola dei terzi.
In questo scatto per esempio il soggetto principale era il canyon, e ho voluto usare la torre come una "cornice", un po' come fare un ritratto ambientato, in cui la tipa nuda è il canyon e la torre è il letto con le lenzuola attorno
Detto questo ti ringrazio e apprezzo tanto il tuo commento, se fossero tutti così sarei la persona più felice del mondo, soprattutto perchè hai scritto " certe tue foto non sono interessanti semplicemente a livello compositivo, in alcune non c'è proprio un soggetto interessante" , e questo mi sarà molto utile in fase di scatto perchè mi dirò "qual'è il soggetto che voglio includere in questo scatto?".
