Ho sognato l'incontro con la Poiana molte volte senza mai raggiungerlo, trascorrendo in capanno intere mattinate invernali. Questo fino a pochi giorni fa, quando fotografando codibugnoli e cince mi è comparsa in volo basso attraversando l'arena del Capanno dei Beccaccini per poi atterrare regalmente sul posatoio messo a dimora nella palude per lei diversi mesi fa. Il vetro Stopsol riflettente ha funzionato alla perfezione attutendo il suono dell'otturatore e permettendomi di muovere con "emozionata calma" la testa per inquadrare la Poiana con una ordinaria composizione sui terzi per un ritratto classico.
