La cicogna Jabirù(Jabiru mycteria) è uno degli uccelli più grandi del continente americano con un'altezza che si aggira sui 120-140cm e un'apertura alare di 230-280cm. E' molto comune nella regione del Pantanal sopratutto durante la stagione arida dove ha maggiori opportunità di trovare il cibo di cui si nutre.

Grazie Massimo per la visita e per il parere. Ho volutamente cercato un controluce sottoesponendo per far risaltare le ali, la testa inevitabilmente è scura anche perché il collo gli occhi e il becco sono neri. Non c'era alternativa. :)
