at 14mm, 30 sec f/11.0, ISO 100, tripod. Godafoss waterfall, Iceland.

Dopo una notte quasi insonne a caccia di aurore (con buoni risultati proprio qui alla Godafoss), la "mattina" (si fa per dire, il sole sorgeva alle 11) essendo stanco e pigro decido di non muovermi e rimango li. Non sono mai stato bravo con la matematica, infatti inizio a preparare tutto verso le 8:30, visto che c'erano già le prime luci del giorno; un quarto d'ora più tardi ero già sulla cascata, a prendermi tutta l'acqua gelida in faccia e bagnarmi, con il vento ghiaccio che "fortunatamente" mi asciugava. Io ero convinto che il sole sorgesse verso le 9:40 circa, non so perché! So che mi sembrava che il tempo non passasse più e tutto quel che volevo era asciugarmi e smettere di tremare; in più il bar dall'altra parte della cascata sembrava dirmi "vieni a prenderti un bel caffè caldoo, vieni Leoo!". Ho resistito fino a poco prima delle 10, e mi sono goduto tutta la fase in cui le nuvole diventano rosa, poi rosse per diventare infine gialle; non fosse che le nuvole in quelle fasi non c'erano già più! Quelle che vedete in questo scatto, 10 minuti dopo erano quasi completamente scomparse purtroppo. Così in fase di revisione, ho scelto questo momento in quanto mi sembra comunque abbastanza suggestivo ed il cielo più "pieno" rende lo scatto molto più interessante a mio parere.
