Figlia del re Carlo Emanuele III di Savoia e della seconda moglie Polissena d'Assia, nacque nel Palazzo Reale di Torino. Quando la Prima repubblica francese dichiarò guerra alla Sardegna nel 1798, Felicita fuggì da Torino per rifugiarsi a Roma insieme alla famiglia ospite dei Colonna. Visse da esule fino alla morte avvenuta nel 1801 a Roma. La camera da letto e' decorata con la carta da parati piu' antica di tutto il palazzo reale: su uno sfondo chiaro, sul giallo, si inerpicano dei rami di fiori multicolori, dove spiccano il blu e il rosa, con uccellini esotici e sulla parete di sinistra trovate un suo ritratto.
